- The Ascou la Forge campsite is located in the middle of the Ariège Pyrenees mountains , between Ax les Thermes and the Ascou-Pailhères ski resort. The site welcomes you all year round with numerous spacious pitches for tents and caravans but also rentals of comfortably furnished chalets, mobile homes or yurts.
  You can also enjoy a snack bar, a mini market, a bar directly in the campsite and the many activities offered by their partners (canyoning, rafting, hiking, etc.). A play area is accessible to all children as well as families at the campsite, such as the swimming pool, a pétanque court and a trampoline.
  With a small river (La Lauze) which flows directly into Lake Goulours, numerous hikes from the campsite, fishing, all the amenities are there to make your vacation a success.
  Ascou la Forge is the ideal place for those who love tranquility and nature.

Family campsite, very warm welcome and kindness. Well maintained and clean sanitary facilities. Beautiful environment and nice walk.

Great experience at Camping Ascou la Forge! We had a very good experience at Camping Ascou la Forge. Many campsites close from November onwards, so we were pleasantly surprised to find a campsite still open. The welcome was very warm and helpful, which immediately made us feel welcome. The facilities are excellent: there is a small bar, and the freshly baked pizza is highly recommended after a good hike! The toilets were clean and well maintained, which is always a plus. The area is beautiful and definitely worth the detour. We particularly recommend the hike to the Col de Pailhères, a must for lovers of nature and beautiful landscapes. In summary, we highly recommend Camping Ascou la Forge to anyone looking for a nice place to stay. We will come back with pleasure!

The campsite is beautifully and quietly located halfway up a small lake; the village consists of a few other houses. Once you've escaped the unbearable atmosphere of Andorra la Vella, it's a real treat to arrive here! The operators are friendly and fortunately have a lot of humor because my French is really poor. English went well then. The sanitary facilities are not up to date, but they are completely ok and sufficient. Unfortunately I didn't try the bistro. Conclusion: very nice, extremely quiet and close to nature stay.
