      Ideally located in the heart of the Vallée des Gaves close to the ski resorts of the Hautacam, Cauterets, Luz Ardiden, Gavarnie or Tourmalet, the Campsite of Larbey (with a surface area of 1.2 hectares) welcomes you with its 48 pitches on the terrace. With its panoramic view, you can enjoy the joys of mountain life in all seasons.

      The team of the Campsite of Larbey will be pleased to guide you on family or sports hikes to practice... visits and discoveries not to be missed, local festivals and local products to enjoy... the various activities offered nearby... (Argelès-Gazost tourist office)

      You will find peace, relaxation and family atmosphere, and your holidays can be sporting or contemplative, in tent canvas, mobile home or caravan with on site a covered and heated swimming pool, balcony over the valley.

    We spent 15 days there at the end of July and beginning of August in a 2/4-seater mobile home. Family campsite with 47 pitches, mainly mobile homes. Washing machine and dryer available. Indoor swimming pool, games for children, table tennis table and board games available in a dedicated room. Few activities given the size of the campsite. Possibility of ordering bread and pastries for the next day. The mobile home was still aging, the bedding was not great...the cleaning was also quite light. Located along the greenway which connects Pierrefitte Nestalas to Cauterêts in 9.5km, and overall 45 minutes from the main sites to visit in the Hautes Pyrénées: Gaube lake, Gavarnie, Pic du Midi, Tourmalet, Betharram caves, Cauterêts and ridges du Lys, numerous hikes. Pierrefitte is 5 minutes away on foot via the same greenway.

    Not many campsites are open in the Pyrenees past October, however this lovely campsite is. The staff (I think it is family run) were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The facilities were very nice...
