  “I look forward to never seeing you again” will be the last words (in addition to a few threats) that the owner addressed to us on the phone (very courageous) after we left his small establishment without paying the housing tax that he himself had forgotten to make us pay. We found this very dishonest. But it must be said that we were not very surprised given a few elements that should have alerted us: - We stopped by to eat a meal before the departure of our touring hike in order to get to know each other and get our bearings in the establishment which was supposed to welcome us for 1 night at the end of our 5-day itinerary. The owner tells us that there will be a music festival organized the evening where we will stay in his gîte but of course when booking no one told us this... - Back from 5 peaceful days in the mountains we are installed in a room whose window overlooks the sound system (THANK YOU VERY MUCH). We had of course paid for half board for which we were entitled to: a fried sausage in the evening (because he didn't have time to prepare anything else) and an orange juice the next morning, all for the modest sum of €30 (half board meal rate) 🤩 Knowing that the owner had promised us that he would personally take care of our breakfast but in the end he preferred to sleep in and send his partner in his place (very courageous one once again). Well I understand that fatigue is present when the musical event ends at 3/4 a.m. instead of 12:30 a.m. (as promised) 😉 So yes, finally you had the right words sir: looking forward to not seeing you again 😁 hoping that one of your resolutions for 2025 is to become a more honest person.

  Warm setting. The managers are smiling and welcoming. A few days with the family to enjoy the snow. Return in the evening to the fireside over a good meal. I recommend you. Looking forward to coming back in the summer for hikes.

  What a beautiful place to settle down and take the time to eat in a magnificent place in Orlu, quiet, almost at the edge of the river on a huge terrace in fine weather, close to the nature or campsite parking areas for camper vans and foot of the lodge for bikers, cyclists, hikers and tourists of all kinds. It is at Laurent's place at the RELAIS MONTAGNARD that he has just taken over with his family and welcomes you from morning to evening every day. The very friendly welcome and the suggestions are tempting. Dishes according to the moment on the slate and table, formulas from breakfast to dinner. Specialties and world cuisine in a family spirit. Convenience store bread supply. It is wise to reserve at 06 51 38 69 59. Room for your events.
