Le Labyrinthe du Château de Merville Children's Entertainment in Merville

Located in the North-West of Toulouse, the domain of Château de Merville shelters in its park the largest boxwood labyrinth in Europe. Nearly 5 hectares of boxwood paths create a shaded circuit and immerse visitors in a fun and interactive course, around a theme that changes every two years.

The Enigma route to investigate :

This year, the Enigma route follows in the footsteps of the Great Inventors with an unprecedented route. Come and discover the inventions and scholars who have marked the history of mankind from antiquity to the present day. Provided with a logbook you will have the mission to solve the puzzles, open the water doors and the grids using codes and get out of the victorious and unscathed labyrinth !

The Dédale route to wander :

The Merville site is also an enchanting park, a jewel of the 18th century, classified as a remarkable garden, suitable for strolling and resting with the Dédale route. The opportunity for everyone to discover the park, without codes or puzzles this time, and learn more about the history of the labyrinth.

Included in this route, the guided tour of the pretty red brick castle which will deliver you, in 45 minutes, the secrets of its typically 18th century architecture, its surprising Chinese lounge and its series of lounges opening a spectacular perspective on the park and the garden of boxwood.

But still... :

Each year, on the occasion of Easter celebrations, the Merville Labyrinth organizes a gigantic egg hunt : 60,000 chocolate eggs are then dispersed in the 6 km of boxwood aisles.

And for the first time in 2020, the Château de Merville park invites you to discover the Halloween bewitched Labyrinth !

Allow about half a day to discover all the surprises of the Merville Labyrinth. You can spend the whole day in the Park if you wish...each one at his own pace!

The Labyrinth is entirely shaded thanks to the bicentenary oaks. A picnic area is at your disposal near the reception, as well as a terrace near the Castle Tavern.
