Before entering, take time to observe the magnificent, typically Toulouse architecture of this convent, one of the finest monastic buildings in the region. Open since the revolution, the Musée d'Art de Toulouse is a veritable institution, one of the oldest museums in France, and can be visited with an audio guide. Paintings and sculptures from the Middle Ages to 1914 can be admired, as can the 4,000 pieces and masterpieces housed in the convent cloister. Don't miss Jorge Pardo's contemporary artistic illustration, or the temporary exhibitions. Children's games are also available to keep the little ones occupied. Please note that the museum is currently closed, but is due to open at the end of 2025.
