This is Toulouse's archaeological museum, housed in a former college built of brick in 1523. Located on Place Saint-Sernin, it takes you on a journey back in time to understand and discover the origins and make-up of Toulouse, then known as Tolosa. A collection of 1,000 Roman sculptures testifies to the life of the Celts and Romans, and a 3-stage itinerary designed in a logical, chronological manner. The tour ends with a permanent exhibition featuring works and remains from the Saint-Sernin necropolis.
