    • The Grand Tourmalet ski resort, which brings together Barèges and La Mongie, invites you to try XXL version skiing.

Did you know that this resort is the leading ski area in the French Pyrenees?

Here, at the Grand Tourmalet ski resort, put on your skis, snowboard or snowscoot and take on the 100 km of slopes in the area! You can then ski all day without going to the same place twice, in landscapes each more beautiful than the other... Whether you are a beginner, a cool skier or a seasoned mountaineer, one thing is certain: the magic of skiing operates.

      An experience to share

      Mountain activities with your children

First of all, for the little ones: a day nursery, to stay warm.

The resort has activities for children: ski schools, a "snow garden", a fun and secure area, many green slopes, and a dedicated toboggan run.

To ski with the whole family

The Marmotte itinerary: 11 km of family happiness on a route with 100% blue and green runs which connects the resort of Barèges to that of La Mongie. Many blue slopes are accessible for family descents, in order to share the pleasure of skiing by diversifying the routes.

Skiing, there is no age to start

With the N'PY Flex card, the ideal card for beginners, make learning to ski easier with this pass which automatically adapts the pricing according to the ski lifts you use!

      For lovers of pure sensations

      Skiing at the Grand Tourmalet

Ski in the forest above Barèges, surrounded by nature, and sheltered from the wind. Super pleasant in all weathers! Also, have you ever dreamed of making the first tracks in the snow? On simple registration, you can make the opening of the Grand Tourmalet ski resort with the trackers.

      The Freeriders ski resort

It is necessary to underline the presence of tracks riders, where the powder is voluntarily left so that everyone can discover the feelings of lightness, pleasure and softness which it causes. At the Grand Tourmalet, high-flying riders will find breathtaking off-piste: the Aygues Cluses valley and its breathtaking view of the Néouvielle massif is the best known, but there are many others… To conclude, direct access to the Pic du Midi freeride area is from La Mongie: a unique spot in the world!

      Equipment designed for freestylers

1 freestyle area with a beautiful snowpark: boxes, rails, modules for jumping in all directions: total love!

We did the proposed hikes on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday for the day. Our guide, Benoît, is just great!! A well of knowledge on geology, fauna, flora, Occitan culture, life in the mountains!! And what's more, super friendly with children! And great hikes offered despite the bad weather conditions. We want to come back just for him!! 😁 Really worth doing if you love nature!! Thanks again!!
