Ideally located between plain and mountain , Volvestre invites you to discover villages of character , panoramas or even small corners of preserved nature . The gentleness of the hillsides allows the whole family to practice our trails , with low differences in altitude and durations ranging from 1h to 3h45.
WALK FOR ALL
Two of our walks are accessible to people with reduced mobility with all-terrain equipment:
- Peyssies, around the lakes – 3km
- Longages, the Rabe and the Sabatouse lakes - 4.7km
We recommend practicing the trails accompanied and in dry weather.
To rent joëlettes or organize group outings , do not hesitate to contact the Handisport Departmental Council.
THE VIA GARONA
Connected to the existing Compostela paths "Conques-Toulouse", the "Voie d'Arles" and the "Voie du piémont Pyrénéen", the Via Garona is a 170km GR© labeled footpath that offers you the chance to walk between Toulouse and Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges with its majestic cathedral. It crosses all the stages between Noé and Rieux-Volvestre.
Whether you are looking for a simple walk or a more sporty hike , you will always find a trail that suits your desires.
