Domain of Lastronques Artisans, Craftsmen (Visits and Workshops) in Lézat-sur-Lèze

Located on the sunny slopes of the Lèze Valley hillsides, the Domaine de Lastronques vineyard now covers 16 hectares. Actors in the renaissance of the Ariégeois vineyard, Andrea and Christian work today with their daughter Laure.

Labeled organic, we work without synthetic products for certification in organic farming in 2024. It is important to us to carry out work in the vineyard that integrates as many parameters as possible linked to respect for the natural environment and we have a great desire to preserve and reestablish ecosystems (hedges, groves, ponds, etc.) which contribute to the preservation of biodiversity and shape the landscape. This conviction is based on the idea that good wine comes from good grapes from vines in balance with their environment.

We harvest healthy, ripe grapes, carry out the vinification and aging ourselves and thus guarantee a tasty and authentic wine.

Many grape varieties make up our wines: pinot noir, merlot, syrah, tannat, cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc, chardonnay, sauvignon gris, chenin and petit manseng. Each one being vinified while respecting its typicality.

Ariège has terroirs of great diversity which are the origin of the estate's supple and fruity or more concentrated and coated red wines. The white wines in turn are distinguished by their frankness, a floral nose accompanied by a hint of minerality.
