The Markets of Toulouse and the Pyrénées

FLAVOURS AND fun OF THE MARKETS

In Toulouse, the markets are influenced by the south-west, in the Pyrenees on the squares or in the covered halls, they are a major attraction for everyone including tourists; they are a real event. The merchants themselves, here throughout the four seasons, are producers themselves and they have to continually please their regular customers… The stalls are full of colours and fragrances; fruits, vegetables, fish and meat… and the markets offer all the freshness and flavour of the local products and the aromas of the region.

The downside is that you need to get up early. So once your basket is full, you may as well take the time for a cup of coffee, on a terrace, to enjoy this particular atmosphere and share recipes, cooking tips or the news.
