Need some fresh air? Are we suffocating in the city? The ephemeral and summery Guinguettes are here to remind us that yes, we are indeed a fresh glass with ice cubes in hand, under the trees or by the water! In Toulouse center and throughout Haute-Garonne, the Guinguettes bloom in the summer, like little wildflowers, for everyone's enjoyment. Call your friends, let's go!

From the guinguette to the ephemeral summer bar

Originally, the guinguettes were popular cafés, which were found in the suburbs of Paris. We went there to dance, have a drink, meet informally with friends, often by the water, always outside, under trees rustling in the wind and with a little taste of vacation on our lips. Loupiottes, fairy lights, subdued atmosphere in the evening, accordion concert and dance from time to time. It is a place which appeals to our collective memory, of a time that those under 20 cannot know!

Today, the guinguette has had a facelift. It's trendy, lounge-like, in the city center. City dwellers have taken on this concept from another era with imagination and originality, and everyone is enjoying it. But the simple little guinguettes of yesteryear still exist. They're even the most authentic.

The Guinguette at Jojo and Paulette's in Montpitol

A change of scenery is guaranteed in this guinguette located about thirty minutes from the pink city. Family atmosphere, joyful, multicolored lights that twirl in the wind... It's the place to know for a family outing, even with children, comfortable in a deckchair or on the wooden terrace. It's simple, authentic and warm, it's fresh and plentiful on the plate and not very expensive !

Take the opportunity to spend the day there. Nearby, there is a small lake and everything you need to have a good time.

The Gragnaguette

A charming, authentic, and spacious country guinguette (with a 300-space car park) located 30 minutes from Toulouse. It features wooden, pallet-style, and reclaimed tables with soft, colorful cushions, a brick dovecote, a swimming pool, and a pond.

It's cool here and we feel good! Children love the wire dinosaurs, the big top and the wooden bowling alleys. We eat grilled food, tapas for those who want to mix things up in small portions and also, which is very appreciable, a choice for vegans and vegetarians ! And surprise, a big wheel is also part of the festivities!

The Guinguette of Lake Badech in Bagnères-de-Luchon

A place facing the mountain 10 minutes from Luchon. You will be comfortably settled in a hammock chair, a cocktail in hand! A dream setting on the edge of a lake, you can also come for afternoon tea and enjoy a sweet treat like a waffle. Here, we do everything to make children feel good.

The grilled meats are well cooked and the salads are served in jars. It's original and trendy ! Yum yum, the homemade desserts...

Look up and enjoy the spectacle of paragliders silently soaring through the air above your heads! A family atmosphere and a generous welcome - we'll definitely be back!

The Wake Park spring, in Carbonne

In Carbonne, head out for a day of sporting festivities and fun. La Source Wake Park is an absolutely unmissable leisure center in the Toulouse region, just 35 minutes from the city center.

Terrace overlooking the lake, it is not a guinguette strictly speaking, but you eat outside, in a relaxed atmosphere and facing the lake and the water ski lift. Have you already tried it? Don't be shy, it's great fun and beginners start on their knees on a perfectly adapted knee board. It will also be a very good excuse to eat a delicious burger at the guinguette / restaurant of La Source.

The terraces of the workshop in Toulouse

Here we are, “like grandma’s, but more trendy,” according to customers!

A pleasant setting and pleasant music , Les Terrasses de l'Atelier is 600m2 of terraces , in the middle of the woods, on stilts. In a deckchair, on a chair in acidulous colors, on a stool or with a pétanque ball in hand (and a glass in the other?), it's good!

• Pêcheurs de Sable : terrace, courtyard or garden, the choice is yours! On the Quai de la Daurade, overlooking the Garonne, the Hôtel Dieu, the Dôme de la Grave, sit down in the shade of the plane trees. Mixed plates to enjoy with a cold drink and a warm welcome .
• The ephemeral Guinguette is an associative project. An idea between friends, started from an idea in the evening and with, as a pivotal point, a dance floor ! Each season, it is a joyful celebration, shared by the fans of this place, which has already had several seasons of pleasure. Concerts, a DJ, in short, a place not to be missed in Toulouse.
