The two high altitude villages of the Peyragudes resort are now linked to the village of Loudenvielle in the valley. Skyvall, the valley lift, thus makes it possible to link the Upper Valley of Louron to Peyragudes in less than 9 minutes. In winter, access to the Peyragudes ski slopes is very easy with a gondola ride without taking the road. The station is connected to the most typical village in the South-West, Loudenvielle.

Loudenvielle, a charming and characterful village made of old stones and lively streets, is backed by the Lac de Génos-Loudenvielle with its sparkling reflections. We take advantage of its naturally warm waters in Balnéa, its shops, its activities, its Arixo cinema and its sport and culture complex Valgora.

It offers a deep and soothing atmosphere to share privileged moments with family and friends. Its exceptional and preserved nature, its terroir with generous flavors and aromas as well as its multitude of activities make it possible to offer convivial mountain experiences.

Nestled at an altitude of 1600 meters, Peyresourde, literally “Pierre Sourde” is the name of the slope located in the Hautes-Pyrénées in the resort of Peyragudes.

4 kilometers from the town of Gouaux-de-Larboust is the village of Les Agudes, in the department of Haute-Garonne. This is the second side of the station.

Thanks to Skyvall, all the activities in the valley are easily accessible and add to the many possibilities offered by the resort of Peyragudes.

In winter, apart from skiing and multi-sport activities possible at the Peyragudes ski resort and its 65 km of slopes, 19 ski lifts between 1600m and 2400m, guaranteed snow thanks to 270 snow guns and its 10 kilometers of marked circuits and free await those wishing to go snowshoeing or ski touring.

Many original activities can also be practiced such as the zip line. It is accessed by the Snow White carpet, then   let's go for 335 meters of sliding, suspended 8 m high, in 3 successive sections to end with a quick flight . We also have fun on the airboard, a streamlined inflatable sledge that you practice on your stomach and which allows you to perform beautiful curves, or even the snake gliss and its 15 sleds assembled together for family descents or between friends.

It is also possible to rent SNOOCs (device between the Snowscoot and the sled with a very low center of gravity), a winter sports activity that makes skiing and mountain discovery accessible. We make our debut on a green run or we leave accompanied with an instructor for a descent at the end of the day with an instructor from the resort, guaranteed gliding sensations without necessarily knowing how to ski (SNOOC rented with a chairlift ride).

Without forgetting the construction of igloos from 4 years old or wild runs on the only Pumptrack in the Pyrenees at the foot of the slopes or in Loudenvielle, asphalt courses, fun on a skateboard, scooter or BMX.

In summer as in winter, the Louron Valley reveals its wonders throughout walks, hikes, downhill mountain biking, scooter outings, walks by the lake, Genos Loudenvielle lake tour... Outdoor activities to practice as a couple, with family or friends…

The regular passage of the Tour de France has made the Louron Valley a superb showcase for all lovers of the Petite Reine with mythical climbs by the Cols de Peyresourde, Val Louron-Azet and Aspin and arrivals of no less mythical stages at Altiport 007 in Peyragudes.

On the roads and on the tracks, everything is designed to facilitate the journey of mountain bikers and road cyclists, lovers of wide open spaces and surpassing themselves. Labeled "Fédération Française de Cyclisme", the Louron Valley is a reference destination in the world of cycle tourism. It offers 480 km of marked mountain bike trails distributed between the bottom of the valley, the slopes of Val Louron and the resort of Peyragudes, from the highest peaks accessible by gondola or chairlift, to the trails of the valley bottoms via the shores of the lakes, nature has fashioned a magnificent terrain of discovery.

The Louron Valley thus has a breathtaking natural setting whether you are a fan of long hikes or an occasional walker. Nature lovers can discover the many marked trails that punctuate the mountain and the valley.

The Sherpa base, located at an altitude of 1,450 m, offers cani-rando rides connected to a sled dog by an elastic lanyard in summer, a mode of travel for trappers in the Far North. In winter, we indulge in dog sledding for young and old.
