La Fruitière Traditional restaurant in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park

At the entrance to the Lutour Valley and in the Pyrenees National Park, discover a hiker's paradise. At an altitude of 1374 m, Corinne Bréchou and Patrick Narp welcome you to the Hôtellerie de La Fruitière, in a friendly and warm setting where they help you discover the flavors and colors of an entire region, from Bigorre to the Basque Country.

Former owners of the restaurant “Les 3 Couronnes” in Cauterets, they have managed the Hôtellerie de La Fruitière for several years. Faithful to its vocation, renowned for the quality of its cuisine and its welcome, the establishment offers accommodation and meals to lovers of the site.

On the kitchen side, the seriousness of the House is ensured by “Patxi” with delicacy, which is supplied via a short circuit and directly from local producers. The subtle seasonings, the traditional light sauces with here and there, a touch of garlic and condiment which skillfully tease you, give the mountain suckling lamb or the Pyrenees trout inimitable touches to you peel off the taste buds.

In terms of service, Corinne and her team recommend the wine list which will not weigh on your stomach or add to the bill, like desserts.

The little extra: We recommend the pork or lamb ribs, cooked for 7 hours and their specialty, the blueberry tart with white chocolate ganache.
