Little-known in Toulouse, this hotel is a magnificent example of the Toulouse Renaissance, with its richly detailed architecture. In the middle of the 15th century, it was built in several stages, first by Béringuier-Maynier and then by Jean Burnet, to create a hotel called Hôtel du Vieux-Raisin, after its neighbor, an inn whose sign was a bunch of grapes. The courtyard is open to visitors free of charge. Keep your eyes peeled: Bérenguier-Maynier had Latin mottos engraved all over the place.
