Legend has it that this is the birthplace of Pamiers, and the town's oldest cultural building, with a Romanesque interior. Hidden behind the ancient church of Pamiers, it was built between 1110 and 1120, before being destroyed in the 16th century during the War of Religion. For 2 centuries, the buildings were even used as a farm, then classified as a Historic Monument and restored for 3 years.
